INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY IN JAJCe

International Nurses Day, May 12th, is celebrated on the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing as a recognized profession. Students of the Nikola Šop High School in Jajce, as part of the activity of regular blood sugar and blood pressure measurements during practical classes, marked this significant date and thus pointed out the importance of early prevention of the occurrence of the most common chronic non-communicable diseases. They demonstrated their humanity, skills and acquired knowledge on this day. Thirty-six students participated in the activity, and teacher Amela Čaušević was the local coordinator.

This activity was implemented within the project “Reconciliation Through Dialogue and Joint Activities in the Local Communities in BiH”, which is financially supported by the German Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
