The project, which lasted from December 20, 2024 to February 14, 2025, was led by students from the “Nikola Šop” High School in Jajce, more than thirty of them. This is the third continuation of the project, which was started last year. In addition to materials for painting ceramics, glass or wood, students were given cups, plates, glasses, knitting wool, or frames for painting, and thus they were able to adapt these objects to their own needs. Everything they made remained in their permanent possession, or they shared it with their loved ones for Valentine’s Day or Bajram. With this workshop, students tried to express their creativity and talent for this type of activity.
Students were given working materials, which they exchanged among themselves, took home and used, and then brought the finished works to school for a small exhibition and for the selection of three best works. In addition to the three main prizes, there were also three consolation prizes and three small prizes. Prizes were provided for all three first places: sports equipment, wireless headphones, large chocolate, sweets, fruit. The goal of this project was to give students practical creative expression, learn how to share gifts to others, and develop a competitive spirit. One of the goals was also to encourage students not to use their mobile phones all the time, but to do something creative in their free time.
This activity was implemented within the project “Reconciliation Through Dialogue and Joint Activities in the Local Communities in BiH”, which is financially supported by the German Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
