Dr Nebojša Šavija-Valha, president of the Nansen Dialogue Center from Sarajevo (NDC), participated in the annual conference of the EMBRACE project, which was held from July 10 to 12, 2024 in Wurzburg, Germany, with the financial support of the European Union. The conference mostly focused on the preliminary results of qualitative research on the topic “Aspects of the Democratization Process in the EU Neighborhood”, which was carried out in several regions, including the South Caucasus, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Western Balkans.
On that occasion, Dr Šavija-Valha presented the country report of the research “Identifying Blockages in the Processes of Peacebuilding and Democratization” concerning Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was carried out by the NDC research team at the beginning of 2024. This research project is the result of a multi-year collaboration between NDC and the University of Manchester, Great Britain.
