In the period from 29 to 31 May, students at the Vocational High School “Jajce” performed experiments with diluted sulfuric acid and copper (II) sulphate. In order to experimentally confirm the theoretically acquired knowledge, they performed experiments of galvanization and obtaining galvanic elements. During the experiment, students wore protective gloves and glasses. They also had respiratory masks. The workshops were both ecological and educational. Through the workshop, students learned about important situations, first of all how to protect people and their environment from all undesirable influences. This specifically refers to the use and storage of dangerous acid, and then how a school subject can provide students with pleasure, socializing and acquiring knowledge through interesting experiments. Long live physics! The activities were organized by Profsorica Tamara Stipić. Four students, a computer technician, participated in the experiment.
