An educational excursion was organized for students who participated and won the Knowledge Quiz on the occasion of March 1, Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and students who participated in the implementation of the program for the School Day “NORDBAT-2” – Vareš On 12.05.2023.
Travelling started at 8:00 a.m., and “First Stop” was the Historical Museum in Sarajevo, where students were introduced to the exhibition, and heard a lot of interesting data related to the history of both Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world.
The next destination was the Museum of Optical Illusions Sarajevo, where students received significant information about physics, light refraction, creating illusions, “cheating the brain”, and have a good time while observing the exhibits.
After that, the unavoidable Sarajevo cable car was visited, which was the first experience of its kind for many students. There was also a short lecture on the construction of the Sarajevo cable car.
The rest of the day was spent walking around the city.
The activity was implemented within the project “Reconciliation through dialogue and joint activities in the local communities in BiH” supported by the German Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
