World Sports Day, also called The Challenge Day, which is marked on the last Wednesday in May, this year was on May 26, 2021.
It is the day when many people of all ages around the world through their active participation manifest their consciousness about sports and sports recreation as a need of modern civilization and a form of healthier and more humane lifestyle.
Since we could not organise sports competitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the pupils from elementary schools “Braća Jezerčić-Divičani” and “13. rujan” marked the Sports Day by taking part in a quiz, whereby twenty pupils showed their knowledge about sports.
The most successful pupils were awarded. Teachers Julijana Glavaš and Radoslav Tokić acted as pupils’ mentors.
